The African-Americans: Many Rivers to Cross

The Harold D. Cooley Library at 114 W. Church St. in Nashville, will be showing the episodes of the PBS documentary “The African-Americans: Many Rivers to Cross” each Friday in February and March 2nd from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm. Each week, a different span of years will be covered by the documentary with the entire series ranging from 1800-2013. Before the videos each week, there will be a local speaker who will kick off the program with a fifteen minute speech. The event is free and open to all.
