VFW Post 2057 and the Sharpsburg Exchange will sponsor a “Heroes Field of Honor” at Joyner’s Crossing – at the intersection of Hwy 97 and Halifax Road in Rocky Mount – September 10 through 13. On September 11 at 5:30 there will be a ceremony honoring the heroes each flag represents. Flags can be purchased to honor the hero in your life for $50.
