Joint Veterans Committee Flag Raising Ceremony
The Joint Veterans Committee will be performing a flag raising ceremony at Jack Laughery Veterans Memorial Park, 321 N. Church St., Rocky Mount, N.C., on Saturday, January 17th at 11:00 AM to honor Melbourne Henry Pridgen, Major, U.S. Marine Corps. This event is held monthly except for May and November. Those months honor all veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. The service is free to an honorably discharged veteran’s family of all branches who served our great nation.
