(2023) Episode 11 – In her retirement, Linda Sheets has found a new home in North Carolina, and she’s dedicated much of her time to helping others. In 2021, Linda founded a non-profit organization called “Banner Bears,” which provides teddy bears and other items to children affected by traumatic situations like abuse, homelessness, or being placed in the foster care system. Linda believes that most everyone can find time to help others in some fashion, and she’s quietly leading by example to make a difference in the lives of children in her community.
