The Joint Veterans Committee of Nash and Edgecombe Counties will be holding a flag raising ceremony at Jack Laughery Park in Rocky Mount on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00. The flag presentation this month will be to the family of Charles William Joyner, U.S. Army. The public is encouraged to attend to honor those who so honorably served our nation. To honor a Veteran, ask for an application at the ceremony.
